Field Services & Engineering

We offer field services and engineering for different types of existing/old autoclaves, be it our own custom types or those manufactured by others. Our field services include, field inspection of safety equipment, quick opening doors, and associated process components. Non-destructive field-testing of pressure vessels and autoclave vessels is also provided. Detailed engineering analysis reports are generated with findings and recommendations.

Advanced design analysis is available for severe or unusual conditions too. Using finite element analysis modeling, we ensure a complete and thorough review of the working stresses plus cyclic fatigue. This analysis is applied particularly for large diameter and high-pressure quick opening doors. Modeling is not limited to Melco products, but can be applied to existing equipment from other manufacturers as well.

We will inspect your equipment for signs of cracking, fatigue, wear, or corrosion using the latest ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and radiographic inspection techniques. All these services are performed in conformance to the strict rules of ASME Section V standards. Our combined experience with ASME codes and autoclaves provides a unique perspective for effective inspection and analysis of your equipment.
